Frequently asked questions
How does the 30% commission work?
You earn 30% of every monthly or annual payment made by a subscriber you referred, for the lifetime of their subscription. If someone you referred stays subscribed for two years, you keep getting paid every month.
How long is the attribution window?
90 days. If someone clicks your referral link and subscribes anytime within 90 days of that click, the conversion is credited to you — even if they close the tab and come back later.
When do I get paid?
Payouts are processed monthly once you have at least $25 in earned commissions. V1 uses manual transfer (bank or PayPal). Stripe Connect automation is on the roadmap.
What happens if a subscriber cancels?
Commission stops when the subscription ends. If they re-subscribe later through your link within the 90-day window, attribution resets and you earn again.
Is there a compliance issue recommending an app to my clients?
HoldOff is a self-help tool, not a clinical intervention — the same category as a book, a podcast, or a journal you might recommend. You disclose the affiliate relationship to clients wherever required by your professional code (NASW, APA, NBCC, etc.) and use your clinical judgment about fit.
Can I apply as a content creator, not a therapist?
Yes. Coaches, podcasters, TikTok creators, and newsletter writers who address anxious attachment are welcome. The form asks for your handle or audience size — just fill in what applies to you.
